Pets and Grounding

Have you heard the term GROUNDING? It sounds like throwing yourself to the ground and just rolling in dirt, right? Well.... sort of. I first heard of the term grounding a couple of years ago when I was deep into researching how I could be more healthy. See, 4 years ago my health started going into a downward spiral: I was losing weight, my digestive health was a mess, I was more anxious than ever and I just did not know why. I have practiced a holistic lifestyle since the year 2000 and I did not understand how could I feel so sick. I started incorporating different modalities into my life like Acupuncture, Chiropractic care, Essential oils, and GROUNDING. So before I continue, let me give you a general background on GROUNDING also known as EARHTHING.

In this era more than ever, we are bombarded and surrounded by electronics that contaminate and saturate our environment and our bodies with a positive charge, disrupting our energetic balance and at the same time starting a cascade of health maladies in our body that can range from uncontrolled inflammation, anxiety, immune-mediated disorders, among others. The Earth has a surplus or negative charge so making contact with the ground barefoot can bring you back to energetic balance.

Our pets are no different from us from the ENERGY perspective. On average, they spend most of their day inside, absorbing all the radiation from the microwave, the cell phones, and other electronics. Sadly, most of the pets are not walked on a daily basis and all of this along with poor diet, over vaccination and lack of physical and mental stimulation has lead to a scary increase in autoimmune diseases, inflammatory and debilitating conditions in our companion animals. Their bodies need to detoxify and coming in contact with the EARTH provides a way of discharging all that positive charge buildup into the GROUND and coming back to balance.

I recommend walking your dog on a daily basis or at least 3 times a week. Make sure they come in contact with the ground during these walks for at least 30 minutes. You can also let your dog out in your yard daily to bask under the sun and just lay there making contact with the EARTH for 30 minutes. They will appreciate this more than you know. And for us, make a habit of walking in your yard barefoot every day for at least 30 minutes... or just laying there making contact with EARTH.

EARTHING is a potent tool for us and our pets to detoxify and come back to balance and it's FREE.

HAPPY GROUNDING!!!
